Don't Sleep with the Dogs

So I was taking a nap across the chairs in the breakfast room, you know, like you do. I was minding my own business, doing nothing except dreaming of warmer weather and more comfortable sleeping circumstances, when all of a sudden I feel a heavy weight land on my torso...*BAM* I'm awake!

(Incredibly unflattering picture of me)

Lilah is more likely to jump into my mom's lap than mine. I don't know why. But it never fails that if I'm trying to nap in (or across) chair(s) in the same room as her, she either jumps on me, steals my blanket (which is usually just a towel), or shoves her rubber net ball into my shoulder. Ritter on the other hand is content just licking my face or hair.

And yet, when I nap on the actual floor with her, she wants nothing to do with me. Often times giving me a couple kicks and then just up and moving away from me if I try to cuddle up to her.

She only lies across me like that when she wants to play. She had just finished shoving her ball into the back of my head. Well, at least we both look happy.
